HOMEMADE CRANBERRY SAUCE
Hey everyone! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving so I thought I’d share my favorite recipe for cranberry sauce. It’s easy to make and delicious. Ingredients are listed below, scroll down for the video
1 (12-ounce) bag cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 Cup water
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
zest and juice of an orange and juice of a lemon
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Cook the cranberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan over low heat for about 5 minutes, or until the skins pop open.
Add the apple, zests, and juices and cook for 15 more minutes, until the berries burst and the mixture thickens.
Remove from the heat and add the raisins and nuts. Let cool, and serve chilled.
Hope you all have a safe wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
